We begin the morning at the Dover Public Library, learning our talking points and ways to effectively advocate for Delaware libraries, highlighted by our keynote speaker Beth Nawalinski from United for Libraries.  Lunch is free and will be provided at Legislative Hall.  Legislators and aides are also encouraged to attend with us.  We then head to our meetings with legislators (attendees are matched up with their Senators and Representatives and provided with packets of information for these meetings.  We’ll then head back to the Dover Public Library for a recap.

Please plan to attend this important day in support of our libraries, bringing attention to the marvelous and essential services, programs and connections that are so unique to libraries. Together we’ll present our stories, data and enthusiastic voices to our new Governor and state administrators.
