Call for YSD Secretary and Vice President

The Youth Services Division of the Delaware Library Association is looking for a Secretary and a Vice President. Please nominate those who may be interested – you may even nominate yourself!  This is a great way to meet professionals, build relationships, gather new ideas, and help move our profession forward. This is a great organization to be a part of! Below are a few of the responsibilities of the positions:

• President: Blue Hen upkeep, quarterly reports, YSD Professional Development Day planning, attend DLA meetings and vote when necessary, develop new ideas for the division
• Vice President: find at least one present for the annual MLA/DLA conference (including monitoring paperwork, timing, and needs of the presenter), help with general MLA/DLA conference planning
• Secretary: take minutes at our two yearly meetings, in charge of raffle item for YSD at the MLA/DLA conference, present summer reading manual
