A new DLA committee was approved last week by the Executive Board – the DLA Diversity Committee! This new committee will with work with Library staff across the Delaware to identify groups within their communities that represent diverse world-views, whether that be through traits such as age, physical ability, gender identification, race, or immigration status. We are excited about this new committee and the opportunities and directions for this committee to follow.
The Diversity Committee will be chaired by Sarena Deglin, Delaware Division of Libraries. More information with be forthcoming with ways to participate and get involved.
