CCPL is expanding our search for the next Branch Manager for our Mount Airy location. Applicants are invited to submit their applications and resumes until December 8, 2023.  We also welcome those who are currently enrolled in an ALA accredited MLS/MLIS program, with at least one year completed, to consider applying.

37.5 hours per week
$67,197 annually plus benefits
​​​​​​​Starting salary negotiable and commensurate with experience
Must be able to work one evening per week and every 4^th Saturday

Job summary:

Manages and directs the daily operations and activities of a full-service library; including information services, collection maintenance, and programming; supervises assigned staff; performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:              

1. MLS degree or currently enrolled with at least one year completed in an ALA accredited MLS/MLIS program.
2. Four or more years professional public library experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
