National Library Legislative Day

2019/ Washington DC

National Library Legislative Day focuses on learning, meeting and advocating with our federal legislators – Senator Coons, Senator Carper and Congresswoman Blunt Rochester.  Since the American Library Association’s Annual Conference is scheduled for Washington D.C. in June, there is no National Library Legislative Day for 2019.  However, there are plenty of opportunities to advocate and be involved.

Contact Cathay Keough at cathay.keough AT lib.de.us (Delaware NLLD Coordinator) for information.  When there is a National Library Legislative Day scheduled, DLA coordinates a team of six from our state to represent Delaware libraries at this venue.

Keep informed through the ALA Washington Office’s District Dispatch.
