Unearthing and Growing Delaware Youth Literacy\n\nTapping into the roots of literacy, branching out with local authors and being motivated by artists of all calibers surrounding Delaware has NEVER been easier. Combining inspiring keynote speakers with creative sessions, Festival of Words this year investigates and promotes local literary talent found in and around Delaware. Growing, networking, and developing a community of readers, writers, artists, and dreamers, Festival of Words 2023 invites Delaware’s middle and high school students to explore our local literary world.
This year’s Festival of Words will take place on Saturday, December 2nd at St. George’s Technical High School. Keep an eye out for more information coming soon! We hope that as we get closer to the event you will encourage your library patrons and middle & high school students to take advantage of this wonderful, FREE event!
We are in need of volunteers!
Interested in volunteering? Or interested in offering a workshop to attendees? Please reach out to Jaclyn Hale and Andrea Rashbaum. Volunteers and presenters will have the opportunity to watch the keynote speakers and enjoy a free lunch!
