September 17th is Constitution Day!

Each year September 17th is observed as “Constitution Day and Citizenship Day.” The observance has two aspects:

  • to commemorate the date the delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution (September 17, 1787)
  • to recognize all new citizens
