Conference Information

The 2024 Annual Conference is scheduled for May 8-10, 2024, in Cambridge, Maryland

The theme for the conference is Seeds of Change, and we’re very excited to welcome Rebekkah Smith Aldrich as our keynote speaker.

A common area of feedback we’ve heard from membership is for the annual conference to include more DLA and Delaware representation. Our team has made it a top priority to respond to this feedback. At the annual conference, there will be more than 15 DLA presentations, presented mostly by Delaware library workers. 2024 marks the 90^th anniversary of DLA. We will be sure to celebrate this milestone at the conference and beyond.

In addition to our Delaware library workers shining at the conference, we also welcome students from Laurel High School and Sussex Central High School, Dr. Jeanie Austin from San Francisco Public Library, Jasmine Clark from Temple University, Megan Kean from Enoch Pratt, Lynn Hoffman from the NJ/DE Digital Collective and Somerset County Library System, Resa Mai from Morris Area Public Library, and EveryLibrary.
