Legislative Update – 150th General Assembly concluded

Governor Carney signed the budget packet at noon on July 1st.  The operating budget totals $4.55 billion, the capital budget comes to $705 billion, and the grant-in-aid budget amounts to $54 million.

Senator Harris McDowell concluded a 44 year Senate career, and State Representative Quinn Johnson, the House co-chairman of the Joint Finance Committee announced the end of his 12 year career in the House.
