Rehoboth Beach Public Library is seeking an Events Coordinator (Full Time) team member.
Job Summary: Coordinate with current programming staff to design dynamic programming for adults
and youth in the library and out in the community. Possess strong marketing strategies to promote,
distribute, and update library information with signage, press releases, and social media. May perform
other duties as directed. This is a full-time hourly with benefits position averaging 40 hours/week. Hours worked include evenings and weekends.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Sciences or Library Information Science from an accredited university supplemented by two years of progressively responsible experience focusing on the provision of programs in the library, or an appropriate combination of education and experience. A commitment to the mission and philosophy of public library service; excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and technology skills; ability to work effectively with library trustees, staff, volunteers, community groups, or independently. Bilingual in Spanish a bonus.
