Part-Time 18 hours a week

Dover Public Library

The City of Dover is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Library Clerk I in the Dover Public Library.  The primary duties of this position include but not limited to checking library materials in and out, processing library card applications, and assisting customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
  • Detailed-oriented, creative and highly motivated
  • Excellent customer service skills

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of experience working in an in-person customer service setting
  • Pushing up to 50 lbs. and physical activity during the majority of the scheduled shift
  • Available to work evenings and weekend shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) year library experience
  • Some college
