Children’s Services Supervisor

Carroll County Public Library is searching for the next Children’s Services Supervisor for our Eldersburg location. 37.5 hours per week
$57,934.50 annually plus benefits

Must be able to work day, evening and weekend hours

Job summary:

Manages, directs, and participates in the daily operations and activities of the Children’s Department in a full-service library, including supervision of assigned staff, collection maintenance, programming, and information service; performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:                 

1. MLS degree or currently enrolled with at least one year completed in an ALA accredited MLS/MLIS program.
2. One or more years professional public library experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience or previous experience working with children.
